**Construction Update: A Year in Review - 2024**

As 2024 draws to a close, let's take a look back at the renovations, upgrades, and features that have been introduced in our schools over the past year.

2024 has been a whirlwind of productivity! Other projects include:

• Parkside Elementary School Cafeteria Air Conditioning Upgrades

• Valley View Elementary Upgrades

Curious about what's in store for 2025?

North Rockford Middle School continues to work on the interior renovations.

Freshman Center has begun its enhancements, which include:

• An expansion to accommodate the district's IT department, offering a workspace and extra storage, along with renovations to the current IT office area

• Enhanced electrical service and infrastructure to support the building's new chiller and updated HVAC systems

• A new chiller and HVAC system providing air conditioning to the building

• Renovations to the Media Center, featuring break-out rooms, a new entrance, and reading nooks, along with improvements to courtyard drainage and finishes.

• Transforming the existing LGI room into a new Project Lab space

• Partial renovation of the cafeteria at the current stage, offering better access to restrooms

• Upgraded restroom partitions and fixtures throughout the building.

2025 Paving Project encompasses the Freshman Center, the parking areas for high school juniors and staff, the Parkside receiving drive, and the dumpster enclosure.
